Fall Leaf Pumpkin

I painted this leaf Fall pumpkin using the Dollar Tree stencil as a guide. I did go off course in he end to give it more character but that is totally personal preference because it looked just as good following the DT stencil.

The plaid and the leaf pumpkin are from Target's Dollar Spot and were a terra cotta color . All of the others are cement pumpkins from Dollar Tree.

First I painted the pumpkin all white.  I cut the veins from the stencil in a prior project because I wanted to use only the outer shape of the leaf for that project and for this design as well.  Then I used chalk to trace inside the border. After that all I did was fill in the leaf with my paint brush.  I did add the name of my town with a paint pen.

I did not photograph the steps of the plaid pumpkin or the polka dot pumpkins because I though these were pretty much self explanatory. I used three coordinating colors but they had no name because they were from the "oops"  section of home depot and they dont include the paint name because they are considered "mis-tints"

I painted the stems metallic gold like most of my pumpkins and sealed all of them with Krylon Matte spray.  Hope you like them.
