Halloween Decorative Guest Towels

I made this set of guest towels for my daughter's powder room using the Dollar Tree iron on vinyl and a set of their hand towels. They are purely decorative but can be used from year to year.  She has an annual Halloween party and goes all out so these were perfect.

I did use my cricut machine for this project only because the image I chose had a little more detail.  You can easily replicate this with a ghost or spider by using scissors.

I grabbed a set of white hand towels from Dollar Tree and a pack of their black iron-on vinyl. I also used some black and white polka dot material from my box of material.  I like to use the traditional Halloween shapes and silhouettes but in a bit of a whimsical manner.

I cut my set of skeleton heads on one of the iron-on sheets using my cricut machine and chose where I wanted to place it. I had actually never done iron-on prior to this so I had to read the directions on the box. I did not take photos of this process but it is pretty straight forward.

After I ironed on the design I felt that it still looked plain so I cut a strip of polka dot material and used my glue gun to adhere it being sure to tuck it around the back as well.  By all means if you sew, this would be a better option, but I do not (I paint lol)

I then applied a thin white rope, to finish it off, using the same hot glue method and they were done! This project was so simple and so inexpensive but will really make an impact in a powder room for Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

I forgot to take a pic of the white ones with the tags but here is a black set
